Elimu Sasa School

The learning experience

Online, but nothing like watching videos alone

Live classes with an instructor you can interrupt, a small cohort you build alongside, and a mentor who reads your work every week. Every course we run is live online. Nothing is pre-recorded and nothing is self-paced.

  • Live, never pre-recorded
  • Weekly 1:1 review
  • Recordings if you miss one

Your week, hour by hour

Part-time cohorts run outside working hours. Full-time cohorts follow the same shape across the day. Total time is around twelve hours a week part-time, including your own build time.

What a one to one actually looks like

Forty minutes, screen shared, your work open. The mentor is not marking you. They are doing what a senior colleague does on a Friday afternoon.

  • You share your screen and walk through what you built and why
  • The mentor asks the questions a client or a tech lead would ask
  • You get specific fixes, written down, not vague encouragement
  • One habit to work on for next week, chosen deliberately
  • Notes are saved to your account so you can see the pattern over the course

Part-time or full-time?

Part-time live cohort

For people in a job. Classes run outside working hours so you keep earning while you build. Around twelve hours a week including your own build time.

  • Classes: live video, evenings
  • Mentor reviews: video call, weekly
  • You need: laptop and stable internet
  • Best for: working professionals, upcountry learners

Full-time live cohort

For people who can give the course their days. Same live classes, more of them each week, and you finish sooner. Places are capped tighter, so full-time cohorts fill faster.

  • Classes: live video, daytime
  • Mentor reviews: video call, weekly
  • You need: laptop and stable internet
  • Best for: school leavers, people between jobs

See it before you commit
