If something does not feel right, tell us. You do not need to know which policy applies before contacting us.
Choose the route that fits best. If you are not sure, email info@elimusasa.com and we will make sure the right person sees it. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the police or emergency services first.
Where to send your concern
Course, learning or conduct
Problems with a course, an assessment, a payment, or someone’s behaviour.
Privacy and personal data
Questions about your information, requests to access, correct or delete it, or a suspected data breach.
Safeguarding
Worries about anyone’s safety or wellbeing, harassment, exploitation or abuse. Read by our Safeguarding Lead and handled with priority.
info@elimusasa.com with “SAFEGUARDING” in the subject, or call +254 746 769 560
Security
A security weakness on our websites or learning platform, a suspicious message claiming to be from us, or a compromised account.
privacy@elimusasa.com with “SECURITY” in the subject
What to include
- what happened, when and where, for example which session, channel or page;
- who was involved, if you know; and
- how you would like us to contact you.
Share only what is needed. For a security issue, please describe what you found rather than testing it further, and do not access or change other people’s information.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your concern, normally within two working days.
- We look into it appropriately and fairly, which may include speaking to the people involved.
- We take steps to protect anyone at risk, if needed, straight away.
- We tell you the outcome as far as we can, normally within five working days, or tell you if it will take longer.
Confidentiality
We handle concerns with reasonable confidentiality. We share information only with the people who need it to deal with the concern, or where the law requires, for example if someone is at risk of serious harm.
No retaliation
Nobody will be penalised for raising a genuine concern in good faith, even if it turns out to be mistaken. Retaliating against someone who has raised a concern is a serious breach of our codes of conduct.
If you are still unhappy
You can ask for our response to be reviewed by a senior member of the Elimu Sasa team. For concerns about personal data, you can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya.
